Volleyball Recap: Nova Classical Academy Comes Up Short

Nova Classical Academy was the 2-0 winner over Lewiston-Altura when they last played one another back in September of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Cardinals on Saturday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Lewiston-Altura to victory were Hayden Randall and Alaina Barkeim. Randall had four aces and three digs, while Barkeim had six digs and three assists. Those three assists gave Barkeim a new career-high.

Nova Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Lewiston-Altura, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Nova Classical Academy will square off against United Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lewiston-Altura, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial on the 6th.
