Baseball Recap: Monte Vista Takes a Loss

If Monte Vista was riding high fresh off their 7-0 takedown of Concord on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Mustangs fell just short of the San Ramon Valley Wolves by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

Monte Vista dropped their record down to 3-13 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for San Ramon Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-7 record this season.
