Soccer Game Recap: Harlan vs. Marshall

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against O'Connor, Harlan was happy to have turned things around on Monday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Marshall Rams a 1-0 shutout. Hayden Laporte had the honor of scoring the game-winner for the Hawks.

Harlan picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 9-7. As for Marshall, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

Looking ahead, Harlan will welcome Holmes at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Harlan's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end. As for Marshall, they will head out to square off against Brennan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
