Baseball Recap: Winona Takes a Loss

Winona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-5 to the Willow Springs Bears. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 12-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2025.

Winona's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Willow Springs, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Winona wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 15-14 win against Bunker on the 31st. As for Willow Springs, they will challenge Van Buren at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
