Shane Marshall Turns in Season-Best Performance

Shane Marshall produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Irwin County to the win on Friday. Marshall rushed for 230 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also picked up 59 receiving yards, good enough to set a new career-high in rushing yards in the process. His longest rush was for an impressive 68 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Luke Snyder was instrumental in extending Irwin County's winning streak to seven on Friday. Nobody could stop Snyder as he rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown on only six carries, and also threw for 168 yards and a touchdown on only 12 passes.

This season, Snyder has thrown 11 touchdowns while averaging 104.7 passing yards per game. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he had three rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to seven.
