Baseball Recap: Palmyra-Macedon Has No Trouble Against Geneva

While Palmyra-Macedon put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Geneva. The Red Raiders put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 6-0 victory. Considering the Red Raiders have won ten matches by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Not much got past Camron Quick, who gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks to keep Geneva off the board. Quick has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Brady Leo, who went 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Goff, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Palmyra-Macedon and bumps their season record up to 11-4. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 6-12 Geneva and 5-8 Midlakes. As for Geneva, they dropped their record down to 6-12 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
