Basketball Recap: Sugar Creek Charter Takes a Loss

Sugar Creek Charter lost against Piedmont Community Charter back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sugar Creek Charter Wildcats were outmatched by the Piedmont Community Charter Patriots and fell 66-18. The Wildcats' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Sugar Creek Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-8. As for Piedmont Community Charter, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sugar Creek Charter will venture away from home to take on Queen's Grant at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Queen's Grant is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.1 points per game this season. As for Piedmont Community Charter, they are taking a road trip to challenge Valor Preparatory Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Piedmont Community Charter is facing Valor Preparatory Academy at the right time seeing as Valor Preparatory Academy is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
