The Sapulpa Chieftains had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They never let Hilldale onto the board and left with a 4-0 win.

Sapulpa will look to defend their home pitch on Saturday against Metro Christian at 12:30 p.m. As for Hilldale, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Cushing at 5:30 p.m. on March 1st.
