Basketball Recap: Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS) Takes a Loss

Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS) saw some tournament action on Friday. They fell 49-36 to the Families Instructing Students HomeSchool Hawks. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading Families Instructing Students HomeSchool to victory were Melody Lee and Julianna Lamon. Lee dropped a double-double with 18 points and 16 boards, while Lamon dropped a double-double with 16 points and 15 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Lee has scored at least a third of Families Instructing Students HomeSchool's points. Raegan Claus was another key player, putting up six points.

Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS)'s defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Families Instructing Students HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 15-13.

As of now, neither Appalachian Christian Team Sports (ACTS) nor Families Instructing Students HomeSchool have any future games scheduled.
