There's no place like home for Mauldin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They came out on top against the Wade Hampton Generals by a score of 2-0 on Monday. This was payback for the Mavericks, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mauldin was: they took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15.

Mauldin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Wade Hampton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.
