Volleyball Recap: Wednesday's Win Is Marple Newtown's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Marple Newtown hadn't done well against Penncrest recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Fightin' Tigers won by a set and slipped past the Lions 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Fightin' Tigers have posted since September 8th.

Marple Newtown wouldn't go down easily and took Penncrest into a fifth set where they got it done with a five-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 23-25, 23-25, 15-10.
