Game recap: Warner Robins High School Football Team defeats Whitewater

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. - Warner Robins (Ga.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 14 points, drop to seven before the final whistle blew on a 34-27 victory over Whitewater (Fayetteville, Ga.).

The Demons led 19-14 at halftime, but the Wildcats recaptured the lead on a touchdown with 11:00 remaining in the third. Warner Robins finally took the lead for the win when Caden Johnston ran for a touchdown with 4:00 remaining in the third quarter.

Both teams scored seven points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at five at the start of the fourth.

Whitewater came in surrendering 17.6 points per game this season.

The loss comes after Whitewater defeated Union Grove 36-13 last week. The loss snapped Whitewater's two-game winning streak. With the win WR extended its winning streak to four games.
