Basketball Recap: Jackson Ford Key Part of a Team Effort in Lions Win

Reedy won the last time they faced Forney and things went their way on Saturday too. The Reedy Lions came out on top against the Forney Jackrabbits by a score of 63-54. The Lions didn't have much to brag about two games back, but this win makes it their second in a row.

Reedy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jackson Ford, who went 6 of 13 on his way to 17 points and five rebounds. Ford's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lincoln Harn, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds.

Reedy's victory bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Forney, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-4.

Reedy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, an 80-75 win against Rockwall-Heath on the 10th. As for Forney, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 53-42 defeat against Seagoville on the 10th.
