Football Recap: Eastmoor Academy Comes Up Short

Eastmoor Academy fell victim to Walnut Ridge and their airtight defense on Friday. They had to suffer through a 38-0 loss at the hands of the Scots. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio football rankings (they are ranked 499th, while the Scots are ranked 167th).

Eastmoor Academy now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Walnut Ridge, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Eastmoor Academy is set to take on their familiar foe Marion-Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Walnut Ridge will square off against rival Briggs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
