Basketball Recap: Benavides' Losing Streak Snapped at Four Games

Benavides came into Tuesday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down Pawnee 52-36 on Tuesday.

Benavides' victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-9. As for Pawnee, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Benavides will welcome McMullen County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pawnee, they will head out to take on San Perlita at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. San Perlita will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Pawnee surely won't give up without a fight.
