Recap: Delta Eagles vs. Norwell Knights
The Delta Eagles can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They claimed a resounding 47-7 victory over Norwell on the road. The victory was just what Delta needed coming off of a 38-7 loss in their prior contest.
Delta can attribute much of their success to Kaiden Bond, who rushed for 137 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry. Bronson Edwards was another key contributor, throwing for 60 yards and two touchdowns.
Delta's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Norwell, they have fallen quite a ways from their 10-2 record last season and are now at 3-7.
Delta will be playing at home against Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Indiana (Yorktown is ranked 99th, while Delta is ranked 79th). Norwell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
