Softball Recap: San Miguel Takes a Loss

San Miguel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Valley Union Blue Devils, falling 14-4. One positive for the Vipers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

San Miguel's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Valley Union, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. San Miguel will take on Willcox at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. San Miguel's pitchers better be ready for this one: Willcox has averaged an impressive 7.2 runs per game this season. As for Valley Union, they will square off against Fort Thomas at 4:00 p.m. on the 31st.
