Basketball Recap: Dalton Droll's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Conway Christian over Marlboro Academy

After flying high against King's Academy two weeks ago, Conway Christian came back down to earth. The Conway Christian Eagles took a 45-32 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Marlboro Academy Dragons on Tuesday. The Eagles haven't had much luck with the Dragons recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.

Conway Christian's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Dalton Droll, who posted ten points. Another player making a difference was Miles Crawford, who put up eight points.

Conway Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Marlboro Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6 record this season.

Conway Christian will be playing at home against Carolina Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Marlboro Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
