Basketball Recap: Duluth Comes Up Short

Duluth was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost to the Peachtree Ridge Lions on the road by a 81-67 margin. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in January.

Duluth's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Peachtree Ridge, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Coming up, Duluth will take on Brookwood at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will need to watch out since the Broncos have now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Peachtree Ridge, they will square off against North Gwinnett at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 61.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
