Baseball Recap: Searcy Takes a Loss

Searcy blew Warren out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Warren got their revenge. Searcy fell just short of Warren by a score of 4-2. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lumberjacks apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Searcy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Warren, their victory was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-3.

Looking ahead, Searcy will be taking part in a tournament against Gosnell at 11:15 a.m. on Friday. Gosnell will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Searcy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Warren, they will head out on the road to square off against Batesville at 8:15 p.m. on Friday.
