Basketball Game Preview: Teton Timberwolves vs. Sugar-Salem Diggers

The Teton Timberwolves will head out on the road to take on the Sugar-Salem Diggers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Teton is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering American Falls just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 60-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Beavers.

Meanwhile, Sugar-Salem made easy work of Ririe on Saturday and carried off a 58-34 victory. The game marked the Diggers' most dominant win of the season.

Teton's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5. As for Sugar-Salem, their victory bumped their record up to 12-4.

Teton beat Sugar-Salem 71-59 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Teton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
