If Hopatcong wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wallkill Valley, they should've done a better job of containing Cole Bolich. The Rangers blew past the Chiefs 34-7 on Friday thanks in part to Bolich, who rushed for 89 yards and a pair of TDs on only seven carries, and also threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns. His longest rush was for an impressive 52 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.

Wallkill Valley's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Hopatcong, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Wallkill Valley will challenge rival Whippany Park at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Hopatcong is set to take on their familiar foe Kinnelon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
