Football Recap: Saturday's Defeat Ends Holy Cross' Winning Streak

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Holy Cross can now relate to. They took a 21-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Xaverian Clippers on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 14-6 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2024.

Despite the loss, Holy Cross still got an impressive performance from Madden Martinez, who rushed for 54 yards and one score on only seven carries, and also threw for 156 yards on 16 of 25 attempts.
