Volleyball Recap: Goose Creek Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Goose Creek was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Lucy Beckham Bengals, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bengals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-6, 25-11, 25-8.

Lucy Beckham's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Olivia McGowan, who had six aces and three assists. Those six aces gave McGowan a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Gragg, who had five aces.

Goose Creek's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Lucy Beckham, the victory was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 19-5.

Goose Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Wando on the 9th. As for Lucy Beckham, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Cane Bay on the 9th.
