Softball Recap: Alabama Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Alabama Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost an 8-7 heartbreaker at the hands of the Trinity Presbyterian Wildcats. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since April 16, 2024, but that streak is no more.

Alabama Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for Trinity Presbyterian, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Alabama Christian Academy will host Stanhope Elmore at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they will be playing at home against Saint James at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
