Basketball Game Preview: Biloxi Indians vs. Brandon Bulldogs

The Biloxi Indians will face off against the Brandon Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Biloxi will be looking to extend their current eight-game winning streak.

Biloxi is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Oak Grove 52-31. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 20 games by 21 points or more this season.

Aaliyah Davison was the offensive standout of the contest as she posted 17 points and four steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Zaniya Johnson, who scored eight points in addition to ten boards and three blocks.

Meanwhile, after only 25 points in their last matchup, Brandon made sure to put some points up on the board against Harrison Central on Friday. Brandon was the clear victors by a 55-35 margin over Harrison Central.

The victory got Brandon back to even at 9-9. As for Biloxi, their win bumped their record up to 29-1.

Biloxi was able to grind out a solid victory over Brandon when the teams last played back in February of 2024, winning 41-33. The rematch might be a little tougher for Biloxi since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
