Baseball Game Preview: Mount Juliet Golden Bears vs. Beech Buccaneers

For the second straight game, Mount Juliet will face off against Beech. Mount Juliet will look to defend their home field on Wednesday against Beech at 7:00 p.m. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Mount Juliet has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Beech will arrive with three straight victories.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Mount Juliet's offense. They fell 5-0 to Beech on Tuesday.

For Beech's part, Mount Juliet's batters probably weren't too happy with Watson Storey, who pitched a no hitter (he gave up four walks). The dominant performance also gave Storey a new career-low in hits (zero).

At the plate, Beech saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Peach, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Kizer Harper also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Beech's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Mount Juliet, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6-1.
