Softball Recap: Morgan City Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Morgan City's offense. They came up short against the Vandebilt Catholic Terriers on Tuesday, falling 18-0. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Terriers recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Morgan City's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Vandebilt Catholic, they pushed their record up to 23-0 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morgan City will host Patterson at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lumberjacks have averaged an impressive 8.5 runs per game this season. As for Vandebilt Catholic, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Belle Chasse at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
