Recap: Rockmart Yellowjackets vs. Haralson County Rebels
The Rockmart Yellowjackets won the last time they faced the Haralson County Rebels, and things went their way on Friday too. Rockmart managed a 59-54 win over Haralson County. Given Rockmart's advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 148th, while Haralson County is ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Samuel Johnson, who scored 32 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Luke, who scored 12 points along with five steals.
Rockmart is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow isn't as good as their 17-4 record this season. As for Haralson County, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-15.
Rockmart will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Cedartown at 4:30 p.m. As for Haralson County, they will head out on the road to face off against Bowdon at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
