Recap: Bear River Bears vs. Sky View Bobcats
Even though the Bear River Bears have not done well against the Sky View Bobcats recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Bear River walked away with a 68-55 victory over Sky View. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Bridger Barfuss was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with eight rebounds and five assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Kyver Jensen, who scored 16 points.
Bear River pushed their record up to 11-2 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Sky View, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.
Bear River will play host again and welcome Ridgeline, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Ridgeline focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday. As for Sky View, they will head out on the road to challenge Logan at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Logan is coming into the game hot, having won their last five games.
