Softball Game Preview: Fair Grove Eagles vs. El Dorado Springs Bulldogs

Fair Grove is on a six-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while El Dorado Springs is on a four-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. Fair Grove will host El Dorado Springs at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Fair Grove is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Everything went their way against Pierce City on Thursday as Fair Grove made off with a 17-4 win. Fair Grove hasn't had any issues with Pierce City recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Fair Grove got a massive performance out of Hali Stokes, who scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Addyson Nunley was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple.

Meanwhile, while El Dorado Springs put up plenty of runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Conway. El Dorado Springs put the hurt on Conway with a sharp 28-0 win.

Fair Grove's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for El Dorado Springs, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.
