It was a good run, but North Rock Creek unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Metro Christian Patriots. The Cougars were not able to make up for their loss to the Patriots from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

North Rock Creek's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Metro Christian, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Patriots beat North Rock Creek by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.
