Flag Football Game Preview: Chiles Timberwolves vs. Niceville Eagles

Two dominant signal callers in Kendall Sadberry and Peyton Carter are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Chiles Timberwolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Niceville Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a four-game winning streak alive.

Chiles is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Lincoln a 21-0 shutout. The Timberwolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 21 points or more this season.

Chiles' receiving core played a big role in the win, headlined by Charlotte Reynolds and Kaitlyn Fagan. Reynolds picked up 27 receiving yards and two scores while Fagan picked up 55 receiving yards and one TD. That's the most receiving touchdowns Reynolds has posted since back in March of 2025.

Chiles didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Francesca Fernandes and Kadyn Whitaker.

Meanwhile, Niceville hadn't done well against Pace recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Eagles came out on top against the Patriots by a score of 26-19.

The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Carter and Avery McBride. Carter had a great game and threw for 264 yards and four touchdowns while completing 72.2% of her passes. Meanwhile, McBride was balling out in the loss, throwing for 375 yards and three TDs, while also rushing for 52 yards on only five carries.

Chiles' victory bumped their record up to 15-2. As for Niceville, their win bumped their record up to 16-2.

Chiles strolled past Niceville in their previous matchup back in April by a score of 19-0. Do the Timberwolves have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
