A Season-Best Effort from Chris Cole Leads Brooks County over Lanier County

Chris Cole produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Brooks County to the win on Friday. Cole rushed for 235 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.1 yards per carry.

The win (which was Brooks County's third in a row) raised their record to 5-3. Cole and Brooks County will head out on the road to challenge Charlton County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Big Game from Grant As Turner County Fell 37-27

While Curtis Grant delivered a dominant effort on Thursday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Turner County. Despite the loss, Grant was still balling out as he picked up 66 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also rushed for 110 yards and a touchdown.

Grant is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Clinch County on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Grant saw the Panthers), he picked up 77 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Luke Snyder Dazzles in Irwin County Loss

While Luke Snyder delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Irwin County. Clinch County had no answer to Snyder as he rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 155 yards and a touchdown.

With the loss, Irwin County broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-1. Snyder and Irwin County will challenge Lanier County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
