Norwalk had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They didn't even let the Stamford Black Knights on the board, marking their second-straight 12-0 shutout. The Bears might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 matches by six runs or more this season.

Norwalk pushed their record up to 27-4 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Stamford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-10 record this season.

Norwalk will host Platt at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bears 1.8, the Panthers 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Stamford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
