Volleyball Recap: Armada Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Armada was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Lutheran North Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat two weeks ago.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-5, 25-10.

Lutheran North's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gisela Hanna led the charge by getting ten aces and five digs. Those ten aces gave Hanna a new career-high. Lilly Leinberger was another key player, getting six aces.

Armada's loss dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Lutheran North, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-10 record this season.

Armada will head out on the road to square off against Grosse Pointe North at 8:30 p.m. on November 1. As for Lutheran North, they will welcome Yale at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
