Baseball Recap: Saks Takes a Loss

Saks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 21st straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Ragland Purple Devils, falling 19-1. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their defeat to the Purple Devils from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

Saks' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ragland, their win ended a three-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Saks is headed away from home for the first time to square off against Ider at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ragland, they will take on Cedar Bluff at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
