Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Zyston Bright and Amogh Janganure Lead Mountain House to Victory

Mountain House lost to Patterson back in May of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. Mountain House put the hurt on Patterson with a sharp 3-0 win.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-10, 25-21.

Leading Mountain House to victory were Amogh Janganure and Zyston Bright. Janganure had seven digs and two aces, while Bright had 15 assists. Bright is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 14 or more in each of the last four games he's played. Dominick Paulo Diaz also deserves some recognition as he had his first block of the season.

Mountain House's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-4. As for Patterson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mountain House will challenge rival Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Patterson is set to take on their familiar foe Manteca at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
