Football Recap: Sargent Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Sargent extended their losing streak to five on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-5. They were beaten by the Sanford Mustangs 57-6. The Farmers were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-0.

Despite the loss, Sargent still got an impressive performance from River Hodgson, who picked up 55 receiving yards and one touchdown.

As for Sanford, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1. The game marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Sanford found their leader in sophomore Colton Reynolds, who rushed for 82 yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Sanford is set to take on their familiar foe Mancos at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 892 yards in their previous games.
