Stoney Creek is 8-2 against Lake Orion since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Stoney Creek Cougars will face off against the Lake Orion Dragons at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Friday, Stoney Creek was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 46-42 to Ferndale. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Cougars came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while the Eagles are ranked 221st).

Meanwhile, Lake Orion was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 61-35 to West Bloomfield. The Dragons were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-16.

Lake Orion's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Stoney Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 13-6.

Stoney Creek skirted past Lake Orion 48-46 when the teams last played back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Stoney Creek since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
