Baseball Recap: Ben Lomond Takes a Loss

Ben Lomond extended their losing streak to ten on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 1-14 in the process. They lost 11-0 to the Ogden Tigers. If the Scots were looking for revenge after losing 8-2 to the Tigers when the teams met back in March of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Ogden, they moved to 3-18 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. That looming 11-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for them yet this season.

For Ogden's part, the team relied heavily on Easton Green, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases Green has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kash Thompson, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and three runs.

While Ben Lomond had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
