Softball Recap: North Catholic Falls to Beaver in First Game of Season

North Catholic unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-0 to the Beaver Bobcats on Monday. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

Kennedy Brown spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on four hits and racked up 12 Ks.

The win (which was Beaver's fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Coming up, Beaver will square off against Hampton at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. North Catholic will be paying especially close attention to Beaver's match: after Beaver faces off against Western Beaver, they'll take on North Catholic again at 4:15 p.m. on April 16.
