Baseball Recap: Kenston Triumphs

Kenston won the last time they faced Solon and things went their way on Friday too. The Bombers walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Comets. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bombers.

Bryce Stotter looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run over four innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Kenston is 4-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 8-11 otherwise.

On the hitting side, Joey Artale was excellent, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. Kenston is 5-2 when Artale posts two or more runs, but 7-11 otherwise.

Kenston's win bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Solon, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-14-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Kenston will square off against Twinsburg at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Solon, they will head out to challenge Norton at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
