Seton Hall Prep is headed out to face Newark Tech after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Pirates enjoyed a cozy 58-39 win over Manasquan on Saturday. The Pirates pushed the score to 48-28 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors cut but never quite recovered from.

Seton Hall Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Infinate Sincere -Amen Ra led the charge by putting up 20 points and five boards. Anthony Gonzalez was another key player, posting nine points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Meanwhile, Newark Tech had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past Marion P. Thomas, posting an 81-51 victory.
