Hononegah strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 52-0 victory over the Hampshire Whip-Purs. Given the Indians' advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois flag football rankings (they are ranked 13th, while the Whip-Purs are ranked 105th) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Hononegah's win bumped their record up to 14-0. As for Hampshire, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-9.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Hononegah is set to face off against their familiar foe Rockford East at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Hampshire will challenge rival Crystal Lake South at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
