Thayer Central entered their tilt with Sutton on Friday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 41-32 win over the Sutton Mustangs. The Titans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Mustangs, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Thayer Central to victory, but perhaps none more so than Leah Havel, who posted ten points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Olivia Wiedel, who earned nine points and seven rebounds.

Thayer Central pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.7 points per game. As for Sutton, their loss dropped their record down to 10-4.

Thayer Central has already played their next game, a 59-47 defeat against Milford on the 18th. As for Sutton, they will head out on the road to face off against Ravenna at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sutton is facing Ravenna at the right time seeing as Ravenna is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
