With a playoff win on the line, Webster Thomas rose to the challenge on Thursday. They blew past the Edison Tech Inventors 22-1. The victory was familiar territory for the Titans, who have now won 11 contests in a row.

Tyler Estelle made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two). He was also big at the plate, earning two RBI and one run.

In other pitching news, Jacob Dicicco looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in eight consecutive appearances.

Back at the plate, Webster Thomas got a massive performance out of Joe Baller, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. That's the most runs Baller has posted since back in April. Andrew Rosa was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI and two runs.

Webster Thomas kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive matchups.

Webster Thomas pushed their record up to 15-5 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.9 runs over those games. As for Edison Tech, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-15 record this season.
