Volleyball Recap: Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks vs. Golden Plains Bulldogs
With a playoff game on the line, Wheatland-Grinnell rose to the challenge on Saturday. They came out on top against the Golden Plains Bulldogs by a score of 2-0. Winning may never get old, but the Thunderhawks sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.
Wheatland-Grinnell never let Golden Plains on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22.
Natalie Bixenman paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up nine kills. Bixenman got some help from

Wheatland-Grinnell has been performing well recently as they've won 20 of their last 25 games, which provided a nice bump to their 29-9 record this season. As for Golden Plains, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-17-1.
