Volleyball Game Preview: Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves vs. West Warriors

The Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves will challenge the West Warriors at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. Wiseburn- Da Vinci will be strutting in after a win while West will be coming in after a loss.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Torrance by a score of 3-1. The Wolves haven't had any issues with the Tartars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Wiseburn- Da Vinci was especially dominant in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 19-25, 25-21, 25-16.

Meanwhile, West didn't have quite enough to beat Fairfax on Saturday and fell 1-0. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

West's defeat dropped their record down to 12-8. As for Wiseburn- Da Vinci, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Everything went Wiseburn- Da Vinci's way against West when the teams last played back in April of 2024, as Wiseburn- Da Vinci made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wiseburn- Da Vinci since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
