Volleyball Recap: South Fremont Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Teton on Tuesday, South Fremont came back down to earth. The Cougars came up short against the Filer Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 3-0. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Wildcats when the teams met back in August of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

South Fremont was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Filer work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-16, 25-20.

South Fremont moved to 12-14 with that loss, which also ended their three-match winning streak. As for Filer, they pushed their record up to 18-8 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

South Fremont has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Gooding on the 9th. As for Filer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Kimberly on the 14th.
